Andrés Parra

Ph.D. Candidate in Gifted, Creative, and Talented Studies at Purdue University College of Education

Fabio Andrés Parra-Martínez received his bachelor’s degree with honors in English Philology from the National University of Colombia. Andrés received the Undergraduate Research Experience Purdue- Colombia, UREP-C scholarship in 2015.

He has been the program coordinator at the GERI Summer Residential Camp since 2016 Andrés has studied, research, and taught motivation and learning theories. He also obtained his candidacy with a systematic review of Gifted Education Policies in Colombia from 1991 to 2019. His research interests are social-emotional characteristics of gifted children, wisdom, wisdom development, gifted education, and educational policy
